Camross N.S.
Camross is situated at the foot of the Slieve Bloom Mts in Laois. Fionn Mac
Cumhail spent his youth here.
Our school has 110 pupils and 4 teachers. There names are Mrs. Keenan Miss
Cordial Mr. O Brien and the principal is Mrs McCarthy. She is my teacher.
We have a large pitch which is divided into 3 sections.We also have a
basketballcourt and over the summer we used it to play tennis and volleyball.
Hurling and camogie play an important part in our school and also in our parish.
We have 2 computers,a laser printer and a photo copier.We are going to have a
chess tournament over the winter on wet days at lunch time.
We are doing a project with a French school in Vay in the Loire Valley.Our
project is about birds.Our project was shown in the County Hall Portlaoise.My
teacher and some of my friends were talking to Don Conroy.
